Klinik Laktasi

Papa & mama berusaha agar Arkan bisa mendapatkan ASI eksklusif, namun mengingat pengalaman dengan Vira, akhirnya kami sependapat untuk mengunjungi dokter laktasi. Keluar tidaknya ASI itu sebenarnya hanya mind game, dan agar ASI dapat keluar dengan lancar, sang ibu harus percaya diri.

Awalnya kami ingin mengunjungi dr.Utami, pakar laktasi. Namun beliau sedang keluar kota. Akhirnya kami mengnjungi dr.Shane, pakar laktasi dari Rs.Carolus. Setelah coaching dari dokter, mama Rika memiliki cukup confidence untuk menyusui, dan semoga Arkan bisa mendapatkan asi eksklusif selama mungkin. Amin.

Arkan Pulang!

Hanya setelah 2 setengah hari dirumah sakit, Mama Rika sudah cukup sehat untuk pulang. Dokter pun sudah memperbolehkan pulang, dan pada tanggal 9 November kami pulang ke rumah bersama Arkan.

Ini pertama kalinya Arkan melihat dunia luas dan pulang kerumah. Rasanya enak bisa keluar dari rumah sakit itu. Namun 1 bulan kedepan ini Mama dan Arkan akan tinggal di rumah nenek di Johar, sedangkan papa jaga rumah yang kosong dan Vira akan bolak-balik sehari menemani papa, dan sehari di rumah nenek. Namun hanya malam ini papa akan ikut menginap di rumah nenek, mau lihat Arkan tidur untuk pertama kali di luar rumah sakit.

8 Months Going 9

Almost 9 months, we now visit the doctor once every 2 weeks. Our little baby is growing up well at a prediction of 3,2kg and 46cm long.

7 Months Going 8

The baby is healthy and in great shape. The plasenta is up and the baby's position is just perfect. We pray for a normal procedure delivery.

6 Months

Went to the doctor's last night and saw our baby's face throught the USG, the hands and knees. It was delightful.

They baby is healthy and strong, plus most of the plasenta has moved up, so we are hoping for another normal birth *fingers crossed*

A Happy Mama

Happy to see the little one is growing well and healthy.

3rd Ultrasound

We switched doctors. I wanted the doctor that handled Vira to be the doctor of this baby. The previous doctor we went to just did things differently.

My grandpa always said: "If it ain't broken, don't fix it".

Its only been 3 months, and the baby has already been moving. "Active fetus", the doctor said. Vira was excited to see that white blip moving around.

"Itu adek pah!"

First Ultrasound

We're happy, but we need to see if the baby is alright. We'll be monitoring every 2 weeks until 3 months. I hope everything will work out fine.

Rika is Pregnant Again!!

Yes, my wife is pregnant. Exactly one and a half month after we planned to have a new one. We both thought she'l be pregnant hopefully by a few months later, but it seems I'm always a top notch performer. :-D
